'The film shows notable thought behind the structuring of its narrative which takes its time coming into its own. What might seem like a voyeuristic or distasteful take on violence, soon justifies the need of being portrayed thus. There indeed is a strong reason behind the unease it produces in the viewer. The plot further deliberately takes them to a place to eventually make them realize how far they are from the truth, thereby managing to drive its point home, loudly and clearly.  Additionally, the film reminds us how welcoming it is to see a man as more than simply a product of biological impulses, and one who is also constituted by reason and logic. Similarly, there is another offering that the story makes in the form of a portrayal of women beyond that of a meek victim who, on the contrary, is a fighter and survivor to reckon with.
